Spring is the most emotional season to Japanese people as it is the end and beginning of the fiscal year. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom mostly from the end of March to the middle of April in Hiroshima prefecture. You can see some sights of cherry blossoms, and also see many people enjoy drinking parties under the cherry blossom trees. Flowers in full bloom are not only cherry blossoms, but other lovely flowers too are able to be seen. Sera is the town that locates at the center of Hiroshima prefecture, and there are a lot of farms of flowers, which are popular. Many tourists flock to the farms in spring. Speaking of flowers, "Hiroshima Flower Festival" must be mentioned. It makes assertions of city being full of peace and flowers. This event is held from May 3rd to 5th every year, and more than one million seven hundred thousand people visit Hiroshima city. The typical Japanese season must be attractive to visitors.
