This glass museum has a great selection of glass on show, from precious ancient glass to everyday glass used during the Edo, Meiji, Taisho and Showa periods. The Modern World Glass Art Museum exhibits artworks by glass-craft artists from around the world. There is also a lot to discover in the World Beads Museum, the Glass Castle, and the World Glass Museum. You can experience various glass-making workshops. At the beads shop, the product lineup consists of more than 10,000 kinds of beads and is one of the largest bead shops in the country.

[Public] Approx. 1hr from JR Hiroshima Station or Hiroshima Bus Center. Get off at "Shita-obayashi" and take a minute walk.

Admission: (pay zone) Adult 1,000yen, high school: 700yen, middle & elementary: 500yen *The other facilities except in pay zone are free. Experience: 500yen ~ 3,000yen. *10% off discount is available for school group or the group with 20 and more. *Please ask us about the capacity for the experience of glass-making.
