The museum, a renovated section of a former sake brewery that was built at the end of the Edo Period, shows more than 130 years of tradition with its thick columns and rafters on the ceiling, and a lingering aroma of sake. Chairs and tables are arranged in the relaxing atmosphere that has a high ceiling for a sake brewery where you can enjoy sake tasting. It is also possible to brew sake under your own label. Also available are pottery, bamboo products, bamboo charcoal coffee, Japanese paper made from bamboo, and bamboo-themed foods and products. You can also enjoy delicious handmade soba noodles and sake at the Tanizaki restaurant.
